According to ResiClub analysis, Greater Milwaukee has led the nation in year-over-year home price appreciation from July 2025 to July 2026. This supports our recent articles discussing that the local market remains strong for a number of reasons.
The number of homes hitting the market the past year in Wisconsin broadly has also jumped. This suggests that home prices might be peaking as sellers come to the market with prices high and demographics supporting properties changing hands. Indeed, we have seen more senior clients moving from two story homes and some leaving Wisconsin for warmer locales, just as we have seen more people relocate to Milwaukee for jobs and to leave harsher weather or taxes in other states.
